Taking Training To The Next Level

I’ve found writing about our industry and sharing my observations so liberating, and have really appreciated the input and feedback so far. Earlier this week, the news of AI powered investing application ‘Jaaims’ being announced as the new Official Training Partner of the South Sydney Rabbitohs broke. I was proud as punch to see this deal come to fruition. Jaaims are more than a market-leading business in the online investing space, they were my foundation client. With both of us being relatively new on our respective journey’s, we’ve forged a path together to disrupt the market and produce outcomes others may have thought about, but never did.
The background to this deal is a great example of what happens when you don’t leap straight to executions or logos… Jaaims’ unique advantage is their powerful AI which consumes over 10 million stock and business data points per day (it even analyses a company annual report in under 73 seconds and provides an investing decision). It means for the retail investor like you or I, that the decisions we make on what stock to buy is backed up by more information than would be humanly possible to consume alone. Not only that, it also scans global sources to gauge vital sentiment around businesses. Net = it gives investors the confidence to trade and not rely on their own gut feel or “mates advice”.
In essence, Jaaims works tirelessly in the background to ensure that when the time comes to place trades, you (the investor) are in the best position possible. And therein lies the link to this new opportunity as the Official Training Partner. We knew that explaining how Jaaims works needed a clear analogy. When thinking about sport, and team sport in particular, success on the field of play comes down to the countless hours spent 'in the background' on the training field. This logic and understanding of training, and how the activity is seen by fans, paved the path to this new deal.
Beyond the fact this partnership rings true on so many levels, I’m really happy for Jaaims’ Founder, Tui Eruera and his entire leadership team. To have a thought as big as he did and to make it happen, and to see your brand grow to the point where it adorns the training jerseys of a team like the Rabbitohs is something most of us will only ever dream about.
So here’s my learning for you all - start with the question: “What am I trying to say, and how can I be told with authenticity”. Jaaims move into their 3rd year as a partner with the Rabbitohs and it’s going to be great to see our campaign come to life and bring this new narrative to the table.
